Course Description: Gun For Hire now has the FATS Firearms Training Simulator on line! Face POSSIBLE lethal threat situations and not only have to make instant decisions, but know if it was the right decision and who survived the encounter.
Better to be wrong on the simulator, then on the street or in your home. Each encounter can be replayed to see what went right, or what went wrong. You will know if the proper decision was made... if the target was stopped or if you were stopped.
Factors can be integrated into the simulator such as recoil, running out of ammunition and firearm failures to allow for a complete simulation. Totally interactive with the shooter and the instructor.

Completely interactive. The guns are real, however, loaded with computer chips to interact with the software to provide a realistic simulation.

Price: $65 per shooter. Bring a friend and the cost is just $100.00 per hour and you can alternate scenarios
Course Outline: 1/2 Hour blocks. This must be scheduled in ½ hour blocks and you MUST be on time for your session.

The FATS session was great--more sophisticated than I thought. The instructor can change the scenario in response to what you are doing. One was very scary—I got goose bumps on my neck. It was a school shooting where there were kids running wild, shots were heard, kids were bleeding on the floor. The perp shot at me. I returned fire. I thought it was all over until a guy laying on the floor picked up a gun and shot at me. In another scenario, the gunman had a girl he was using as a human shield, while waving his gun and threatening to kill everyone in the room. We did that a few times with different variations. There were domestic violence calls, a couple of disgruntled employee scenarios, etc. Makes you appreciate what police officers have to deal with, and how split second, life and death decisions must be made. More importantly, you realize what could happen while you wait for the police to arrive.
I had a chance to try both a Glock and a Beretta. Charles is fantastic. He used Google to find a charging handle which replaces the Glock back plate, and could make it possible for me to operate the slide. Nothing beats one-on-one instruction. I’m amazed with how everyone at GFH people goes the extra mile to address individual needs.

Just want to say thanks and tell you how impressed I was with your entire operation last night. I have sat through many classes with the fire dept and none of them were ever taught as well as yours. I will be in touch with you soon to enquire about getting additional carry permits for other states that I may be eligible for. My side line of work takes me to many places where I should be carrying. If you get the opportunity I would appreciate it if you could let me know how to acquire the information that tells me other states that I can get additional non resident carry permits.

This is linda baker. I had such a good time at your class. everyone made me feel comfortable and welcome. I was a little leery about shooting my gun because everyone asked why I had it! but I had such a blast with it . I love my gun. I emailed paul devane about taking your class.
